Fool's Mate
Fool's Mate is a tower defense game played with chess pieces. Try to survive as many waves as possible. You can place the pieces by selecting them from the lower left corner. It is recommended to play the game full screen.
- Queens move diagonally, horizontally, or vertically
- Rooks move horizontally or vertically
- Bishops move diagonally
- Knights in an ‘L’ shape’
Prices are as follows

When I start I cannot buy anything, so I keep loosing the first wave... Do I understand correctly that I should click on the piece I want to buy on the bottom left then click on the spot I want to put it on? Because all pieces are greyed out for me and nothing happens when I click on them
Interesting. Pieces should turn a bright color when selected. Thanks for the feedback.
If you haven't I would suggest using delta time so it's framerate independent also when the enemies get fast enough they seam to teleport.

Idk why their teleporting then but whatever good game for 3 hours.
